Try a material or a catalogue code such as YC035.
Choose a three-piece, five-piece, seven-piece or metric-format reference. List every photo opening and frame finish, then confirm frames per retail set, sets per master carton, mats and hanging hardware. A frame count and a carton quantity are different purchasing units.
Use the catalogue to identify a frame family and SKU. Final photo openings, glazing, colours, components, packaging, order quantity and production timing need to be confirmed for your order.
Catalogue images show design references. Ask for current photography and a sample when approving the final specification.
COMPARE THE CONFIGURATIONS
For gallery wall frame sets in bulk, compare the proposed arrangement before specifying each opening and the final pack contents. These are catalogue references, not confirmed packing lists.
Swipe across the table to see every column.
| Reference | Catalogue starting point | Confirm before approval |
|---|---|---|
| Three-piece references | Compact and larger matching formats | Confirm each photo opening, colour assortment and the number of frames in the retail pack. |
| Five-piece references | One larger frame and two smaller pairs | Specify each opening, mat and finish, then confirm the complete set. |
| Seven-piece references | Mixed-format assortment | Approve a component list with the final frame count, sizes and fittings. |
| Metric-format reference | Artwork specified in millimetres | The plan mentions A4/A3; confirm each usable opening rather than assuming compatibility. |
PLAN THE ASSORTMENT
Treat a gallery collection as a coordinated bill of components. The visual arrangement, photo openings and retail-set contents need to describe the same group of frames.
Use outside dimensions and explicit gaps to draw the wall arrangement. Number every frame and show portrait or landscape orientation.
Give each numbered frame its own opening, finish, mat and fittings. Repeated outer dimensions can still hide different inserts or mat windows.
Record complete retail sets ordered, then calculate individual frame quantities. Agree sets per carton only after the retail pack has been defined.
FROM ASSORTMENT TO PACKING LIST
Before multiplying an order quantity, agree what is inside one set. Use one line for every different frame or accessory. The fields below are a buying worksheet, not a confirmed packing list for any catalogue reference.
Swipe across the table to see every column.
| Field | What to record | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Component and count | Frame or accessory reference and quantity within one set. | Every item included in the sellable pack. |
| Artwork and opening | Intended artwork size, visible opening and mat requirement. | Fit against a drawing or sample; outside size alone is insufficient. |
| Finish and arrangement | Colour or finish for each component and any intended assortment. | The sample and the order use the same combination. |
| Fittings and inserts | Required hangers, fixings, instructions, artwork or layout template. | Which items are included and how they are identified in the pack. |
| Protection and presentation | Individual protection, separation between frames and retail packaging. | An opened packing sample and the proposed carton arrangement. |
Then record the complete sets ordered, frames per set and confirmed sets per carton. Ask for carton dimensions and gross weight when the packing is defined. Keep individual frames and complete sets separate on the quotation and labels.
Describe the intended delivery route and any customer packaging requirements. Packing photographs show an arrangement; they do not by themselves demonstrate transit performance.
